عمّان، 3 آب 2026: في إطار شراكتها الممتدة مع الجمعية العلمية الملكية، وحرصها المستمر على المحافظة على البيئة، وسّعت شركة زين الأردن نطاق تعاونها في المشاريع الوطنية للرصد البيئي، من خلال توفير خدمات الاتصالات اللازمة لتشغيل محطات رصد نوعية الهواء لأول مرة لصالح وزارة البيئة، إلى جانب مواصلة دعمها لتشغيل محطات رصد نوعية المياه، وذلك ضمن المشروع الوطني لمراقبة نوعية المياه عن بعد والمملوك للمجلس الأعلى للعلوم والتكنولوجيا منذ العام 2003.
ويأتي هذا التوسّع انطلاقاً من حرص زين على تسخير التكنولوجيا والابتكار لدعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى حماية الموارد الطبيعية وتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية، عبر توفير حلول اتصالات موثوقة تسهم في مراقبة جودة الهواء والمياه بشكل ساعيّ، بما يدعم الجهات المختصة في اتخاذ القرارات المبنية على البيانات الموثوقة، ويعزز كفاءة إدارة الموارد البيئية في المملكة، وذلك انسجاماً مع التزام شركة زين بتطبيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، لا سيما الهدف السادس “المياه النظيفة والنظافة الصحية”، والهدف الحادي عشر “مدن ومجتمعات محلية مستدامة”، والهدف الثالث عشر “العمل المناخي”، والهدف السابع عشر “عقد الشراكات لتحقيق الأهداف”.
وستوفر زين ضمن هذا التعاون خدمات الاتصالات اللازمة لنقل بيانات 12 محطة لرصد نوعية الهواء بكفاءة عالية، موزّعة في مواقع (الرصيفة، والمفرق، والبقعة، والجيزة، والموقر، وإربد، وسحاب، والكرك، والحسا والزرقاء)، حيث تتيح هذه المحطات متابعة نوعية الهواء في الوقت الفعلي عبر أنظمة أوتوماتيكية تقوم بجمع العينات وإجراء التحاليل وإرسال النتائج بشكل ساعيّ، بما يعزز كفاءة الرصد البيئي ويدعم جهود المحافظة على جودة الهواء في المملكة.
يذكر بأن شركة زين تجمعها اتفاقية تعاون ممتدة مع الجمعية العلمية الملكية منذ 19 عاماً، لدعم المشروع الوطني لمراقبة نوعية المياه عن بُعد، عبر توفير خدمات نقل البيانات وخدمة Real Static IP لتشغيل 13 محطة لرصد نوعية المياه موزّعة على أبرز المصادر المائية السطحية في المملكة، وتشمل نهر اليرموك، ونهر الأردن، وقناة الملك عبدالله، وسيل الزرقاء، إلى جانب مدخل ومخرج سد الملك طلال ومخرج سد كفرنجة، حيث تتابع هذه المحطات نوعية المياه في الوقت الفعلي من خلال أنظمة أوتوماتيكية تجمع العينات وتجري التحاليل الفيزيائية والكيميائية وإرسال النتائج بشكل ساعيّ، بما يسهم في دعم الجهات المعنية في متابعة جودة الموارد المائية وتعزيز استدامتها.
وتؤكد شركة زين الأردن من خلال هذه المبادرات استمرار التزامها بتسخير أحدث تقنيات الاتصالات لدعم المشاريع الوطنية ذات الأثر البيئي والمجتمعي، والإسهام في بناء منظومة رصد ذكية تواكب التطور التقني وتخدم جهود الحفاظ على البيئة والموارد الطبيعية في المملكة.

Zain and Royal Scientific Society Expand Their Collaboration to Operate Air Quality Monitoring Stations
Amman, 3 August 2026: As part of its long-standing partnership with Royal Scientific Society (RSS) and its ongoing commitment to environmental conservation, Zain Jordan has expanded the scope of its collaboration on national environmental monitoring projects by providing the telecommunications services required to operate air quality monitoring stations for the Ministry of Environment for the first time, while continuing its support for the operation of water quality monitoring stations under National Remote Water Quality Monitoring Project, owned by Higher Council for Science and Technology since 2003.
This expansion reflects Zain’s commitment to leveraging technology and innovation to support national efforts aimed at protecting natural resources and advancing environmental sustainability by providing reliable telecommunications solutions that enable hourly monitoring of air and water quality. This supports relevant authorities in making data-driven decisions based on accurate and reliable information while enhancing the efficient management of the Kingdom’s environmental resources. The initiative also aligns with Zain’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, Goal 13: Climate Action, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
As part of this collaboration, Zain will provide the telecommunications services required to transmit data from 12 air quality monitoring stations with high efficiency. These stations are located in Russeifa, Mafraq, Baqaa, Jiza, Muwaqqar, Irbid, Sahab, Karak, Hasa, and Zarqa. The stations enable real-time air quality monitoring through automated systems that collect samples, conduct analyses, and transmit results on an hourly basis, enhancing environmental monitoring capabilities and supporting efforts to preserve air quality across the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that Zain and Royal Scientific Society have maintained a cooperation agreement for the past 19 years to support the National Remote Water Quality Monitoring Project by providing data transmission services and Real Static IP connectivity for the operation of 13 water quality monitoring stations located across the Kingdom’s key surface water resources. These include Yarmouk River, Jordan River, King Abdullah Canal, Zarqa Stream, as well as the inlet and outlet of King Talal Dam and the outlet of Kufranja Dam. The stations monitor water quality in real time through automated systems that collect samples, perform physical and chemical analyses, and transmit results hourly, enabling the relevant authorities to monitor water resources and enhance their sustainability.
Through these initiatives, Zain Jordan reaffirms its commitment to harnessing the latest telecommunications technologies to support national projects with environmental and social impact, while contributing to the development of a smart monitoring ecosystem that keeps pace with technological advancements and supports efforts to protect the environment and the Kingdom’s natural resources.
